Precipitation is the process of formation of solid particles from a solution i.e. when a reaction occurs in a liquid, chemical present in it causes the formation of solid called precipitate where as spinodal decomposition is the process of rapid unmixing of liquid or solids from other thermodynamic phase to form two co-existing phase.
