I agree with the statement because, in this an era where there are many organisations competing in every field with variety of offerings one better than the other and striving hard to make their customer base strong and large. Due to availability of ready information on the Internet, online platforms people are more aware of the offerings; they can easily compare quality, price and other constrains and chose those, which comply with their need and perspective.
Customers can switch to another over if they are not satisfied by the company which they use to trust. Due to these factors it is very difficult to maintain loyal customers. And to get new customers is even more difficult. Therefore, to remain successful in business organisations must maintain their existing customers by satisfying them and considering their needs to retain them. Keeping existing customers as a priority, business can seek opportunities to increase new customer base with effective strategies and brand recognition.
